Mindful Eating Courses
The aim of the course is to work in a supportive, safe environment with other people, learning to use mindfulness to free ourselves from unhealthy eating habits and improve our overall quality of life.
Although the focus of the course is around eating, it spills over into every aspect of our lives and enables us to make mindfulness a part of life.


What is the Course?
The course runs over 6 weeks with each session lasting two hours. There are exercises to practice at home to keep us thinking about what we have learnt and to gain even more insight.
After the course I remain available for support and discussions by email, phone or text. There is also a possibility of establishing an ongoing support group if people would like that.
In this course
We do NOT do any of the following :
- Weigh, count or measure
- Judge or shame
- Restrict or deprive ourselves in any way
But, we DO :
- Become curious about our relationship with food and drink
- Learn about how our relationship with food came about
- Explore our habits and patterns with food
- Hope to discover new ways of being with food
- Aim to feel liberated in some way
- Aspire to enjoy food in ways that are healthy for us both physically and emotionally
- Work with self-compassion and kindness towards ourselves
The course consists of mindfulness exercises, relaxation exercises, eating practices and information/discussion.
